SHELF LIFE : The shelf life of pure aloe gel is a week  in the  refrigerator. Following are the steps to extract ALOE GEL from the aloe vera plant: Cut the leaf from the plant ( prefer diagonally cutting, so the plant regrows faster )  Place the leaf upright in a cup or bowl ( any shallow container will also do ) Now, let the dark yellow resin drain out from the leaf.
