How to Simplify your life?

Whenever we think about simplifying our life, the first thing that comes to our mind is that simplification is a massive and very time-consuming process. The world is fast-moving and very complicated and hence taking a step back and trying out something new is a really big task right.

As you know we all have a billion things going on simultaneously, even now you must have a lot of things to do. Sometimes it's easier, more than ever, to feel overwhelmed and feel like stress is taking over us.

I can understand how you feel with all things lined up, deadlines to be met and the list goes on and on. Life is so taxing as there is always so much to do in very little time.

I have personally changed my life to an extent that now I am much happier, more productive, and above all, I truly feel like I am living the life I deserve and desire at the moment.

Keeping my experience aside, I'll be sharing the top 5 life hacks that I use to live a more simplistic life. This post may get a little longer than usual and I don't want you to get tired reading it. So, I suggest you start with 1 or 2 ways that speak the loudest to you and then follow up the other ways. Also, I won't be writing long paragraphs (as I can understand it's tiring to keep on reading) so I'll be writing in points to keep it short and simple.

I can't wait to see what simplifying your life will do for you!

Here we go!

Top 5 ways to simplify your life...

1. Start with one goal:

Write down all the things you want to achieve on a piece of paper or a journal and then slowly start with one goal at a time. It's easy to drift away by all the things going on in life but you try your best to calm yourself down and get going!

Set one main life goal, for now, break it down into actionable steps, set a deadline to achieve it, and refer to it daily.

Once you've achieved one goal, you'll feel inspired to take on the next one on your list, and so forth.

2. Declutter your wardrobe:

Sounds like a big task right? But getting rid of clothes that you no longer use or that don't serve you any purpose is the best thing to ever do.

The rule is that if you haven't used something for more than 8 - 9 months you can either sell it, throw it out or give it away.

3. Journal:

Journaling is a really good way to get all your thoughts down on paper and it also helps you to prepare a plan of action for your future.

Try and spend at least 5-10 minutes a day journaling. You can write about your day, dreams, things you want to do, your daily affirmations, and a ton of other things too.

Journaling is a great way to organize all the thoughts swarming around in your mind daily.

There's no harm giving it a try as it helps organize and settle things down.

4. Try and fill your life with people who make you feel good:

I know, it's not an easy task to filter out people from our life but in this day and age, it has become a necessity to do so.

A quick tip, try to prefer quality over quantity when it comes to the people you have and bring into your life.

5. Unfollow:

As social media has become a really important part of our life and we do get a lot of followers and friend requests on a day-to-day basis hence, we should try and unfollow people on social media that do not make you feel good about yourself. Only follow people who inspire and motivate you.

So, go through your list and delete or unfollow anyone who puts you down.

We want an amazing and uplifting feed people! Don't we?

We've finally reached the end of this blog but before you go let me know in the comment section down below if something is missing from this list or if you have something to add to it.

I would love to hear your tips on how you simplify your life.

Until next time,

Have a great day ahead!
